Integrations & Data

Most of the value is in the connective tissue.

The systems you already run are usually fine. What is missing is the wiring between them, and a definition of which one is right when they disagree. That is unglamorous work and it is where most of the return is, because it does not require anybody to change how they work.

What this fixes

Problems we see in this category.

If two or three of these describe your operation, this is the right page.

  • Two systems hold the same customer and neither one is authoritative.
  • A number has to be exported, reformatted and imported on a schedule, by a person.
  • Your accounting package and your operational system are reconciled by hand.
  • A supplier feed, payment rail or CRM has an interface nobody has connected.
  • Reporting exists, but it is assembled from exports and is therefore always describing last week.
What you get

Deliverables.

  • A data map: what each system holds, which one is authoritative for each field, and where the duplicates are.
  • The integrations themselves, with retry and failure handling, because a link that fails silently is worse than no link.
  • A reconciliation approach for anything that cannot be fully automated, so the manual step is small and defined rather than large and improvised.
  • Reporting that reads from the systems directly instead of from an export.
  • Documentation of every connection: what it moves, when it runs, and what to check when it stops.
How it runs

Process.

Map first, then connect, then remove the manual step — in that order. We do not replace a system that works. The risk in this category is concentrated in the replacing, not in the connecting.

Who owns it. Integration code and configuration built for your engagement are assigned to you on full payment. Credentials and third-party accounts are yours throughout and are never held on your behalf.
What support covers. Interfaces change without warning when a vendor updates them. A maintenance arrangement covers that; a build without one does not.
Next step

If you can name the two systems that disagree, that is enough to start the conversation.

One company, two jobs

SOPHIA XT is the engineering arm of 3 Point Forward.

3 Point Forward

3 Point Forward does the business work: diagnosing what is actually wrong with an operation, planning the implementation, applied-AI consulting, training the staff who will run it, and managing the engagement.

SOPHIA XT — the engineering arm

SOPHIA XT does the engineering: custom business software, integrations, AI engineering, developer tooling and the research underneath it.

sophiaxt.com

One company, two jobs. 3 Point Forward defines the operational problem and the implementation plan; SOPHIA XT builds what the plan needs. A company that already knows what it wants built can go straight to SOPHIA XT, and a company that needs the problem defined first should start at 3 Point Forward. Either door reaches the same team.
