3 Point Forward's own systems
The public site, the staff CRM and the client portal behind it — the consulting side specifying, the engineering side building.
3 Point Forward needed the operational software a consulting firm runs on: somewhere for enquiries to land, a board for engagements, proposals and invoices out, and eventually a place for clients to see their own project.
The operational problemA consultancy that tells clients to put their operations on one system cannot run its own on email attachments.
What was delivered- The public site at 3pointforward.com, including the assessment and the enquiry paths.
- A staff dashboard covering clients, projects, milestones, tasks, proposals, invoices, files and support tickets.
- A booking flow that offers real remaining slots, refuses a slot taken between page load and submit, and confirms by email to both sides.
- A public site assistant that records the conversation and captures enquiry details against a lead record.
- Server-side sessions, argon2id password hashing, role separation between staff and client, double-submit CSRF and request rate limiting.
- MySQL behind the application; uploads stored outside any web root and served through an authorisation-checked route.
- Transactional email for booking confirmations and new-enquiry alerts.
- 3 Point Forward runs its own enquiries, bookings, proposals and invoicing on the system rather than on email.
- Client records are hard-scoped to their own client identifier on every query.
- The client-facing portal is in phased rollout. The sign-in path is honest about that rather than presenting a door that opens onto nothing.
Defined the requirements, owns the operation, and runs the business on it day to day.

What this engagement draws on.
SOPHIA XT is the engineering arm of 3 Point Forward.
3 Point Forward
3 Point Forward does the business work: diagnosing what is actually wrong with an operation, planning the implementation, applied-AI consulting, training the staff who will run it, and managing the engagement.
SOPHIA XT — the engineering arm
SOPHIA XT does the engineering: custom business software, integrations, AI engineering, developer tooling and the research underneath it.
One company, two jobs. 3 Point Forward defines the operational problem and the implementation plan; SOPHIA XT builds what the plan needs. A company that already knows what it wants built can go straight to SOPHIA XT, and a company that needs the problem defined first should start at 3 Point Forward. Either door reaches the same team.
